Make a difference as Global Procurement Manager 
As Global Procurement Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our procurement strategy and driving transformation across the organization. Your leadership will ensure that procurement evolves from a reactive function into a proactive, value-creating partner. Your role in shaping success:

• Strategic Procurement: Lead procurement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and staying ahead of upcoming major procurement projects. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with stakeholders globally, to stay informed about major projects and supply critical information to buyers and stakeholders. 

• Specialized Experience: Bring experience in active procurement involvement in large investments, such as new construction projects in various countries. Ensure diligent monitoring and review of SLAs and the performance of key suppliers. Identify performance gaps and drive improvements by suppliers, including renegotiation or changing contracts/suppliers, as necessary. 

• Support in Procurement Projects: Act as a key advisor and sparring partner for the team of buyers during procurement projects. Participate in negotiations and sit at the negotiation table for significant procurement deals. 

• Team Leadership: Manage a team of 6 professional, experienced buyers covering the main domains. Provide direction and foster a proactive approach to procurement. Ensure the team is involved early in the procurement process.

• Transformation: Drive the transformation of procurement into a strategic business partner within the organization. Lead the design, development, and execution of Enza Zaden's contract management strategy. Shift the focus from reactive management to proactive influence and value creation. 

• Policies & Procedures: Develop global procurement policies, procedures, and related guidelines, aligning them with external requirements and organizational policies. 

• Supplier Management: Take responsibility for supplier management, identifying key suppliers and overseeing their performance. Develop and implement effective supplier management strategies. 

• Reporting: Report directly to the CFO, providing insights and updates on procurement activities.

• Leadership experience, particularly in leading and developing procurement teams. 

• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and contribute to major business initiatives. 

• Familiarity with large investment projects and acting on a global level is highly desirable.
