Maintenance Support Tech II-IV - Waco-Special Crews

TxDOT's Waco District is looking for a Maintenance Support Tech II-IV, (Administrative Assistant) based out of our Special Crews Maintenance Office. This position performs administrative support-related work in a maintenance office. Work requires contact with private entities. This position keeps the office running day to day, assisting with phone calls, meetings, employee onboarding, orders and procurement, data entry, timesheets, and many other important functions. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.  The ideal candidate is able to communicate and respond quickly and professionally via phone or email to members of the public, coworkers, and local government stakeholders. Salary Plan/Grade:
Maintenance Support Tech II: A15 ($38,976.00-$58,045.00/yearly)
Maintenance Support Tech III: A17 ($42,976.00 - $64,469.00/yearly)
Maintenance Support Tech IV: A19 ($48,244.00-$76,028.00/yearly)
