The <b>Accounting manager</b> will be working from <b>San Marino </b>and will primary report functionally to the Regional Controllership Organization.</p> <p> </p> <p><br/> <b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Manage the month end, quarter end and year end closing under US GAAP following financial standards and procedures of IFF.</li> <li>Be responsible of US GAAP reporting following IFF corporate requests.</li> <li>Be responsible of the statutory reporting and lead the annual statutory audit activities including reconciliation between US GAAP and local GAAP.</li> <li>Review with Corporate Tax on the local tax filing &amp; declarations including corporate Income tax, VAT and all other applicable local tax. </li> <li>Coordinate the internal and external audit requests</li> <li>Support the tax team on the tax audits and support the country management on various government inspections.</li> <li>Be the local contact for insurance matters and contracts.</li> <li>Be the partner of the country manager and country leadership team and provide the necessary support for finance and accounting matters.</li> <li>Coordinate payroll</li> <li>Support end-to-end P2P &amp; O2C processe </li> <li>Coordinate bank payments<br/>  </li> </ul> <h3><b>Job Requirements</b></h3> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>CORE COMPETENCIES:</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Strong computer/systems capability </li> <li>Proficiency in US GAAP and local GAAP / statutory / regulatory reporting </li> <li>Knowledge of local taxation is a plus</li> <li>Strong communication and networking skills </li> <li>Consciousness of control and business ethics environment</li> <li>Drive for results, Problem solving, Customer Focus, Strategic Agility</li> <li>Team leadership skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Education: University Accounting, Finance or Economics degree.</li> <li>Experience:  4 + years finance / accounting leadership experience ideally in a similar role</li> <li>Certified Public Accountant, ACCA is a plus</li> <li>Accounting &amp; audit firm experience is a plus</li> <li>Fluent in English and Italian<br/>  </li> </ul>
