Position Details:
Type: Part-Time Contractor with potential for Full-Time conversion
Hours: Initially ~10 hours/week, with potential to expand
Location: On-site in San Francisco (Remote work is not available for this role)
Role Scope:
This position offers significant growth potential. While starting as a part-time contract role, there is an opportunity for conversion to a full-time position based on performance and initiative. The scope of responsibilities may expand as you demonstrate capability and as our needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting Operations:
Manage candidate pipeline using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Coordinate interviews and improve hiring processes
Manage candidate experience
HR Management:
Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding
Manage payroll and handle contract administration
Financial Operations:
Process vendor payments
Manage Brex card expenses and accounts
IT Support:
Troubleshoot SaaS tool issues for employees
Manage access controls and software licenses
Office Management:
Liaise with building management
Handle various office-related tasks
Executive Support:
Assist with co-founder's inbox management
Coordinate calendar and scheduling
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of operations experience in a fast-growing startup environment (non-negotiable)
Ability to work on-site in San Francisco for all contracted hours
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
Strong proficiency with HR systems, payroll software, and a wide range of SaaS tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in improving processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in AI or deep tech industries
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Previous experience with executive support or C-level assistance
Familiarity with financial operations and vendor management in a startup context
Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements
Experience with office management in a high-growth company
