CA Warehouse Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a flexible and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of warehouse operations, including order picking/packing, inventory handling, and assisting with return material authorizations (RMA). The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving

• Receive lighting product shipments and unload containers.
• Separate pallets for stock or 3PL shipments; wrap and label accordingly.
• Scan stock pallets into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and place in bins for future shipment.
• Stage outbound pallets for freight carrier pickup.

Shipping

• Pickers: Retrieve products from bins, scan with inventory system, and place on packer conveyor.
• Packers: Verify product accuracy, pack and tape boxes for shipment.
• Verifiers: Inspect outbound orders for quality and report discrepancies.
• Shipment Coordinators: Arrange carrier pickups (FedEx, UPS, USPS), create tracking labels, and sort pallets by carrier.

Forklift Operation (Preferred)

• Safely operate reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and double-deep rack systems.
• Perform put-away and letdowns for inbound and outbound pallets (minimum 6 months’ experience preferred).

General Warehouse Duties

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship single-item or bulk orders.
• Manage inventory with RF scanner and verify materials against picking lists.
• Stock and store materials in designated locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow Cal/OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and team members.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support daily warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred but not required.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge for RMA processing, inventory tracking, and shipping tasks.
• Flexibility: Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift between different responsibilities depending on operational needs.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Forklift Certification (Optional): Forklift experience is a plus but not mandatory.
