The Palette Program is a mission-based program that helps elevate our leaders and staff to strengthen the continuing care industry and our organization. Our first priority is leadership training, but this is just the first step in a palette of programming to help our Artists (this is what we call our team members) to step up to the next level, wherever they are in their journey.
This position will spearhead the development of the programming, with support from the rest of the HR Team and leadership. Our goal is to continue to enhance our culture by providing leaders with the opportunity to learn foundational skills and personal leadership behaviors which will make them and their teams successful.

Responsibilities:
Develop and put in processes to onboard managers & new manager training path for promoted managers and people we have identified for management. This will not only include legal/HR but also leadership tools such as time management and maintaining emotional stability. Responsibilities may include:
- Creatively developing programming with an eye towards building the culture.
- Needs assessment/ using surveys or focus groups as needed to ensure appropriate courses are developed.
- Developing proposed program and course outlines.
- Researching external and internal resources (community college, consultants, internal trainers, purchased outside training modules (online).
- Developing individual courses and training materials in PowerPoint or other systems, to include significant interactive (hands-on) portions where managers practice the techniques.
- Working with marketing to record courses as needed for posting in Paycom.
- In-person training (hands-on)
- Pre-course and post-course testing development to measure success.
- Using Microsoft Excel to support training dashboards (using Paycom/other data)
- Creating Paths/Checklists in Paycom to support onboarding/training for managers.
- Lead Manager Meetings (prepare training and materials & get speakers, etc.)
- Maintain the Manager Tools page (ensure their toolkits/training materials are updated.)
- Research possibility of ongoing touchpoints (manager book clubs or newsletters.)
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Required Experience:
- Prefer: Bachelor’s degree. Helpful: SHRM or HRCI certification. Required: Evidence of Courses and Seminars related to Training and Learning/Development.
- Must have: Strong technology skills, particularly in PowerPoint and (to a lesser extent) in Excel (can train).
- Also required: At least 3-4 years of experience in personally training small and large groups of individuals, to include a personal presence that captures the audience’s attention. 2+ years of experience in developing complex training programs. Experience in developing hands-on exercises that provide an “aha” moment for the particip
