As the Director, IT at Aura, you will be the catalyst for enhancing productivity and fostering seamless collaboration. Reporting directly to the CISO, we are seeking someone who thrives in a cutting-edge, SaaS-based cloud environment. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate IT delivery with precision, implementing systems, processes, and controls specifically tailored for our dynamic remote workforce and hybrid working environment. Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff

• Develop strategic roadmap as it relates to the organization's IT applications and services (workstations, business applications, collaboration and communications platforms)

• Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget

• Procure, deploy, and retire third party applications and services throughout their lifecycle

• Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology

• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring applications performance and endpoint health

• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of applications and supporting technologies

• Vigorously identify opportunities for automation and greater efficiencies in the use of resources

• Deliver Service Desk and other end user support capabilities to ensure high levels of productivity and satisfaction in the organization

• Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects

• Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, and telecommunications systems

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with and influence teams across the entire organization

• Working knowledge of IT security best practices

• Excellent leadership, decision-making and organizational skills. Able to scale process with growing organization. 

• Able to leverage data to drive strategic decision making and analyze it for actionable insights

• Strong knowledge of IT service management and project management principles

• Demonstrated ability to define and implement strategic roadmaps based on stakeholder needs
