Position Description
The Emerging Talent Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in professional sports. Our mission is to attract top, early-career talent and provide meaningful, hands-on experience within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization.

Participants do more than observe; they contribute. Interns gain real-world experience, insider access, and a comprehensive understanding of how a professional football organization operates. The program is intentionally structured to help participants build upon their academic foundation while defining clear, career-focused goals.

Each intern is placed within a specific department while also being encouraged to explore the broader business of football through networking opportunities, a Capstone Project, and our Internship Learning Series. Throughout the program, interns collaborate with team executives and build professional relationships that extend well beyond their internship experience.

This is a paid, hourly internship running from July 13, 2026, through June 25, 2027.

This role plays a hands-on role in how Buccaneers content appears across owned digital platforms, with a primary focus on the website and YouTube. Positioned at the intersection of content, technology, and performance, the position is ideal for someone interested in digital media, analytics, and platform operations.


Essential Functions
• Concept, publish, and optimize content across Tampa Bay Buccaneers digital platforms, with a primary focus on the website and YouTube.
• Write and manage SEO-friendly metadata (headlines, descriptions, tags, and schema where applicable), balancing search optimization with the Buccaneers’ brand voice.
• Assist with the creation, build, and QA of web and app pages, supporting a daily publishing cadence across a wide range of content types, layouts, and media formats.
• Support digital asset workflows, including sourcing, organizing, tagging, and deploying photography, video, and creative assets.
• Monitor digital performance by pulling analytics from key platforms and tools, contributing to regular performance reports and insights.
• Assist with the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including email campaign builds, paid social content deployment, and basic data cleaning and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with content, marketing, social, and analytics teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across platforms.


Management Responsibilities
This position does not manage employees.


Additional Skills & Abilities
• Ability to post enriched media content, including YouTube, Website, Shortform & Audio
• Proven ability to think creatively, work independently, and take ownership of projects
• The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization


Experience & Education
• Completed bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably in Digital Media, Social Media, Journalism, Production, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in Photoshop and working with digital assets of all types: images, videos, audio, graphics, text-based
• Prior experience managing the digital presence of a brand is important for success in this role
• Experience in the sports industry preferred


Technical Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or comparable tools
Comfortable adapting to technology updates and new digital processes
Ability to generate and interpret routine system or data reports
Able to input, track, and analyze data accurately
Skilled in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
Proficient with computers and standard office software


Work Environment
Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
Required to work all home and some away games
Must be comfortable working in a high intensity setting, meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results
May have to work occasional holidays


Physical Fitness Standards
Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
