Electrical Journeyman & Foreman

Seeking a Foreman and Journeyman Electricians with commercial electrical experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a well established electrical contractor in Thonotosassa, FL

• Foreman Pay: $32 - $34+ per hour (based on experience)
• Journeyman Pay: $27 - $30+ per hour (based on experience)

 As a Foreman, you will manage a 6-8 man crew on commercial jobs, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. Journeyman electricians will perform troubleshooting, installations, and repairs under the direction of a Master Electrician.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew and assign tasks on commercial job sites (Foreman)
• Test electrical systems with voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters
• Document testing results, observations, and steps taken to resolve issues
• Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components and wiring
• Assess electrical situations using testing devices and blueprints
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
• Ensure equipment is in good working condition

Qualifications:

• Completed electrician apprenticeship
• Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Valid state electrician’s license
• Preferred: Previous experience in commercial electrical systems and ground-up construction
