CUSTOMER QUALITY ENGINEER

 

Job Description
 

This position, under the supervision of Quality Assurance Supervisor, will be responsible to prepare and release quality files according the Inspection Test Plan (ITP), to investigate the root cause of external/internal issues in order to improve the reliability of internal processes and products delivered by the plant.

The position is required to work with the quality team, and eventually to support cross-functional teams, to identify the adequate containment and corrective actions for temporary and permanent solution.

Tasks

• Develop and issue ITP (Inspection and Test Plan)
• Release the Quality documentation according to ITP by interacting with suppliers and internal departments
• Work with Manufacturing and Technical Service team on quality issues (both internal both coming from customer)
• Actively participate in cross-functional team (manufacturing, engineering, service) to assist in the development and monitor execution of action plans to ensure timely resolution
• Develop and deliver accurate and timely quality reports (statistical analysis, metrics trends, ...)

Profile

• Candidate shall be able to obtain results with minimal guidance and be accountable for programs and projects results assigned
• Technical experience, preferably with compressors, pumps or rotating mechanical equipment (Knowledge of machining, casting and assembly processes will be a plus)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
• Proficiency with MS Office basic tools (Ms Word, MS Excel, MS Office…)
• Engineering degree or equivalent culture
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Highly familiar with structured problem solving tools (A3, 9Step, 8D, …)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and certified internal auditor will be a plus
• Teamwork oriented
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
