Senior HVAC Mechanic

Job Description

Performs senior functions in air conditioning shop including, control of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and automated alarm systems.

Job Responsibility

• Performs senior functions relating to the HVAC Shop for various assignments throughout the facility.
• Performs maintenance on all air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilating systems in the Hospital; conducts periodic maintenance work on all equipment in Air Conditioning Shop.
• Coordinates and collaborates with other staff to assure that departmental outcomes are achieved.
• Performs emergency repairs; responds in emergency situations and expedites as quickly as possible in conjunction with other trades.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all power saws, pipe cutting machines, grinders, and specialty tools.

Job Qualification

• Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
