Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Contracts Management Associate - Early Career in Littleton, CO or Herndon, VA. In this role, you will do:
- Contract Drafting & Interpretation
- Work with Various Contract Types
- Use knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Interim Top Secret clearance is required prior to start.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Contracts or related field from an accredited college
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel
- Interest in Contract Drafting & Interpretation
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

- Current DOD Top Secret Clearance
- Regulatory & Statutory Knowledge
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, Procurement Integrity Act
- Negotiation Techniques - BATNA, Win-Win Approaches, Tradeoffs
- Familiarization with Various Contract Types, Interpreting Terms
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities; detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Business Writing - emails, formal correspondence, proposals, and presentations
- Perform with humility, tact, and patience, seeking insight and consensus
