Senior Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and procedures and experience with Netsuite ERP. This role will also be a key contributor to the month end close process through reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting.

This role will best suite individuals that can work both independently and collaboratively showing ownership of all tasks and projects. Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Manage the accounting workflow, including entering transactions, preparing reports, and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews
- Participate in and/or lead implementation of process enhancements and new technology
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports on financial and operational performance
- Provide mentoring and support to accounting team colleagues
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years minimum of experience in general ledger accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrates an ability/desire to improve processes
- North Carolina preferred, East Coast required
