  • Lead process, goals, and schedules for our Creative Text development, alongside the Narrative Set Lead. Tasks include setting deadlines and following up with external contractors on deliverables.
  • Assess current talent, recruit, and onboard new talent to develop the writer pool.
  • Participate in worldbuilding meetings and play-testing to foster collaborative communication and reinforce established narrative and mechanical goals.
  • Codify and evolve best practices that reflect Magic’s evolving voice, narrative ambitions, and inclusive storytelling standards.
  • Lead workflow improvements and task automation for the team.
  • Own and organize information for various IPs and internal/external Subject Matter Experts for IP specific needs.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Passion for feedback, data, and iterating on ideas.
  • An outstanding balance between flexibility, forward-thinking mentality, and a strong orientation towards process.
  • Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
