Summary
The Therapeutic Innovation Center is seeking a highly motivated and capable professional to serve as a Coordinator, Business Operations. This position will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day business operations of a fast-paced, expanding research center. This position will provide support by processing purchase orders, managing travel, maintaining calendars, and composing correspondence. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will possess great customer service skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and assist others. The role also includes working directly with center co-leaders and center faculty to achieve center goals and initiatives.
The position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, to be determined.

Job Duties
The Coordinator, Business Operations will work closely with the Co-Directors, Administrator and all the faculty for the center. This position will require the following duties:
• Provides day-to-day administrative support for THINC co-leaders and faculty including calendar management, event coordination, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and purchasing.
• Coordinates a variety of new and ongoing education and outreach projects and seminars each week, ensuring prescribed activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner. This will include scheduling travel arrangements, catering, setup/breakdown and reimbursements for guest speakers.
• Manages and executes the internal and external center communication projects in conjunction with co-directors and other stakeholders. This may include updating websites, collecting, and editing content and/or posting to social media.
• Coordinates the day-to-day business and financial processes for the department through Concur and Jaggaer. This includes, monitoring financial activity by compiling, and reconciling financial purchases from faculty and staff; reviewing expenditures from fund sources to verify accuracy, need, and compliance with grant purchases and travel.
• Coordinates and/or leads routine meetings with center administration and staff to provide updates on open issues and ensures action items are issued.
• Assists with and supports student, postdoctoral and staff recruitment and onboarding.
• Responsible for arranging all event activities pertaining to onboarding and orientation.
• Responsible for coordinating department meetings, rounds, seminars, trainings, ceremonies, or events.
• Manages the distribution lists and listservs for the center.
• Collaborates with the center administrator to develop standard operating procedures for Education and Outreach program activities.
• Schedules interviews on behalf of the hiring managers and supported faculty.
• May assist with credentialing and onboarding faculty and staff.
• Performs difficult and complex administrative tasks and other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with project management software, Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Experience with SRM, SAP, and Concur.
