Senior Backend Software Engineer - Cloud Security

In this role you will be responsible for developing and building cloud security detection and response capabilities. You will work with some of our most beating features and capabilities.

About the Team

As part of the Cloud Security team, you will work with great and talented people in a dynamic and diverse environment, including various cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, cloud identity. The team focuses on securing cloud workloads across the entire application lifecycle chain, starting from CI/CD to runtime.

The Role

In this role you will own a full cycle of development (from planning to production) and be responsible for developing security capabilities and features for cloud workloads in high-scale solutions with data-intensive applications.

The role requires experience with Python coding on backend containerized applications. 

We use cloud technologies and software engineering to provide great solutions for cloud security pains.

The team focuses on securing cloud workloads across the entire application lifecycle chain, starting from CI/CD to runtime.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the planning and execution of security features for cloud workloads and containerized applications.

• Continuously learn new technologies and gain deep cloud familiarity

• Work closely with product management

• Work with and learn from other developers

• Deal with software challenges including high performance, scalability, multi-tenancy, robustness and resilience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with software development

• High proficiency with Python programming

• Experience working with cloud environments - AWS/Azure/GCP

• Independent, responsible, curious and creative, with the willing to learn and lead

• Passion for cloud technologies to join the Cloud Workload Security team.

• Hands-on experience with Containers - Advantage

• Prior experience working with runtime security products and defensive cloud security in particular - Advantage

B.Sc in Computer Science or Software Engineering from top universities - Advantage
