Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will provide daily support to the Human Resources Department, employees, students, and faculty of the University. The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work with little supervision, independently, and also as a team player. The Human Resources Generalist will provide support to the University by:

HR Generalist Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and Hiring: Managing the recruitment process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews and extending offers.
• Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll, ensure all timecards are approved and processed, and comply with all state and federal guidelines.
• Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Training and Development: Assisting with the implementation of training programs and employee development initiatives.
• Compensation and Benefits: Administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
• Policy Implementation: Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• HRIS Management: Maintaining employee records and HR data in HR information systems.

Education/Experience:

A high school education with 3 years of human resource experience, Or a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field of study with 2 years of human resources experience.
