The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to analyze user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically feasible.

  • Translate user stories into solutions that provide an excellent client experience and align with Digital’s architectural roadmap.

  • Prepare detailed technical designs that account for security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

  • Code, test, debug, implement, and support complex financial applications.

  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore resources, ensuring adherence to our processes and standards.

  • Remain abreast of emerging Digital technologies.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing

  • Implement Test and Behavior Driven Development as part of Shift-Left Strategy

  • Code and debug complex financial applications

  • Accountable for SDLC auditable artifacts – SIA, Code Reviews, Test Plans and Exit Reports

  • Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

  • Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level, and foreseeable dependencies

  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks / issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines

  • Understand the role of the engineering team within the SDLC and effectively advocate for the best possible cus
