You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment designing, building, and implementing best-in-class integrations to accelerate how project44 connects to the world’s logistics networks. </span><span> </span></p> <p><span> </span><strong><span>Key accountabilities: What you'll work on</span></strong><span> </span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Build state-of-the-art integrations to expand our ever-growing network of connected carriers and customers. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Manage integrations through their life cycle. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Operate, maintain, and improve the supply chain visibility platform owned by the team. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Building systems in a multi-cloud environment. We use AWS and GCP but value experience in other cloud environments such as Azure. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Work with and align with cross functional teams to solve challenging problems. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Share ownership of all facets of software delivery, including development, operations, and test </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>You will assume on-call responsibilities for systems (together with the team) that are built and owned by your team.  </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>You will invest in tools, monitoring, and automation to improve on-call experience for everyone on your team. </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span><strong><span>Qualifications:</span></strong><span> </span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>5+ years professional experience building large scale and real time or near real time cloud systems. </span></li> <li>Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in C++ or Java Backend</li> </ul> <p><span>Experience in: </span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Building systems in a multi-cloud environment. We use AWS &amp; GCP but value experience in other cloud environments such as Azure. </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Creating and working with scalable Java-based micro-services. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Working with databases (preferably Postgres or other SQL based DB) </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Event stores and stream-processing in Kafka or Kinesis. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Working in an agile software development environment. </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p><span>Desirable and helpful (but not necessary) are experience in </span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Experience with investigating large and complex codebases</span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Hands-on experience with C++</span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Creating API's/web services: REST, OpenAPI/Swagger is a plus. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Container-orchestration: Docker &amp; Kubernetes </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Enjoy database related work: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Postgres. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Analytical approach to problem solving. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Personal drive and maintaining a high pace - while taking responsibility for things working. </span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Willingness to vocalize your ideas and pick yourself up if you get knocked down.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong><span>In-office Commitment: </span></strong><span>This position requires a commitment to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in-office <stro
