About the role
Intellisense Systems, Inc. is a privately held company with a proven track record of developing and deploying innovative products that successfully operate in the most extreme environments. We are a fast-growing Southern California technology innovator that solves tough, mission-critical challenges for our customers in the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. We design, develop, and manufacture advanced products for ground, maritime, and airborne applications.
We are seeking an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to join our growing Tactical Systems Department to support the development of cutting-edge, ruggedized military hardware for air, land, and sea. Our department focuses on tightly integrated, compact sensing and computing technologies to deliver mission critical information at the edge. Our products have been deployed and proven across all seven continents in the harshest environments on the planet.
The Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team working on ground vehicle line replaceable units (LRU) responsible for power (e.g. solid state power control) and data (e.g. MIL-STD-1553, CAN bus, PCIe, etc.) management and distribution within complex military vehicle platforms. The IPT lead coordinates and drives execution of the IPT’s tasks and manages technical progress, risk, and schedule while ensuring product quality. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring their product meets the system’s requirements and coordinates any changes with the Chief Engineer and VP/GM of Tactical systems. The expectation for this role is to lead and drive the day-to-day activities and to make the technical decisions needed to ensure product quality while working with the Chief Engineer and VP/GM when impacts drive other parts of the system.
