About the Role
The Project Manager- Design and Construction Senior describes a leadership role overseeing construction projects valued between $10 million and $200 million, which may include multiple smaller projects at existing sites or new facility developments. The responsibilities include program development, managing budgets and schedules, leading project teams, and supporting patient-centered design that prioritizes safety for patients, staff, visitors, and workers. The role involves providing technical expertise in construction management, negotiating contracts, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring projects align with IU Health’s mission of community wellness.
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or other related field is required.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience required, must have proven significant experience in managing projects over $10 million.
• Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of business, management, finance and project cost control techniques.
• Requires comprehension of applicable regulations, such as the NFPA Life Safety Code, ISDH Regulations including the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities, International Building Code and Americans with Disability Act.
