Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Services Consultant / IT Consultant to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role requires a candidate who is proficient in a wide range of IT tasks and projects, with a strong focus on advanced technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in server migrations, group policy updates, routing, VPNs, multi-factor authentication, and leading teams.
Responsibilities:Provide advanced technical support and consulting services to clients in the Washington, D.C. area, with 2-3 days of onsite presence per weekLead and execute server migrations that incorporate database files, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsManage and update group policies to meet the evolving needs of clientsImplement and configure routing and VPN solutions to ensure secure and efficient network connectivityLead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support as neededImplement multi-factor authentication solutions to enhance security for client systems and dataProvide expertise and guidance on DKIM and DMARC protocols as neededAct as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, taking ownership and driving resolutionRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5+ years of experience in IT roles with a focus on advanced technical solutionsStrong experience with server migrations, group policy updates, routing, and VPNsProficiency in leading and managing IT teams, with a track record of successful project deliveryExperience implementing multi-factor authentication solutionsFamiliarity with DKIM and DMARC protocols is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with both onsite and remote responsibilitiesBenefits:Competitive salary up to $110,000 - $115,000 per yearComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time offOpportunities for professional development and career advancementHybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work remotely and onsiteCollaborative and supportive work environment with a focus on innovation and growth
