About the position
The Chief of Staff provides strategic, operational, and executive support to the CEO and the executive leadership team. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of high-priority initiatives, facilitating cross-functional alignment, and driving clarity and accountability across the organization. The Chief of Staff also leads the executive support team, optimizing workflows and operational effectiveness for senior leadership.
The position is based in the United States. Applicants must hold US citizen or US permanent resident status.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management
- Lead and coordinate critical cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects from planning through execution.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Serve as a central point of coordination for C-Suite and executive leadership team activities, ensuring consistent communication and alignment of priorities.
- Facilitate collaboration across functions to remove barriers and accelerate decision-making.
Executive Support and Leadership
- Oversee the executive support team, establishing priorities, processes, and standards to ensure high-quality service to senior leadership.
- Manage workflow and administrative operations that support the CEO and executive leadership team.
Analysis and Insight
- Conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize information to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
Meeting and Governance Management
- Plan and coordinate executive meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
- Ensure accountability for key decisions and project deliverables.
Special Projects and Initiatives
- Lead or support ad hoc initiatives as assigned by the CEO or executive leadership team, requiring discretion, strategic thinking, and cross-functional influence.
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in strategy, operations, or management consulting, ideally with exposure to executive-level project execution.
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading or managing high-performing teams or administrative/executive support staff.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth, or dynamic organizational environments.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
