AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities
- Define and enforce tagging standards and governance policies across AWS resources
- Document and establish ways of working for cloud infrastructure to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing
- Design and implement an automatic refresh plan for AWS environments and services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Develop self-service automation templates to simplify adoption across projects
- Ensure proper observability and monitoring of cloud services (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Collaborate with teams through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and decision-making forums
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Proven experience as DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
- Solid background in AWS Cloud environments with a focus on automation and governance
- Knowledge in AWS Services
- Familiarity in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Experience with Python or Bash
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog
- Strong ability to establish standards and disseminate knowledge
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and automation-first mindset
- Comfortable working in cross-functional agile teams
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
