Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically partners with campus leadership, consulting on operational issues such as labor utilization, metrics, labor dollar utilization, planning, budgeting, productivity, succession planning, recruitment, retention and engagement, leadership mentoring, new service line development, regulatory labor compliance, employee, patient and physician satisfaction; job description management; department and organizational structure.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of all major functional areas of HR, especially in labor law and regulatory compliance. Strong problem solving, and dispute resolution as well as excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to function

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience may be substituted for education. 
  • Three years of related work experience required, to include employee relations, conflict management, and program coordination.

  • SHRM or PHR certification is preferred   
  • Masters required within 5 years of start date
