About the RoleThe Director Information Technology will be responsible for leading and scaling Hinge Health’s technology service delivery function. The ideal candidate is someone who has built and managed high performing teams, is a strong communicator, and has deep experience in technology service delivery and portfolio management. The Director IT will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional leaders and external business partners to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery of business value.
The ideal Director of IT candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to effectively manage an organization's information technology department. Here are some key qualities and qualifications to look for in an ideal candidate for this role:
Technical Proficiency: The Director of IT should have a strong background in information technology and be knowledgeable about a wide range of IT systems, infrastructure, and software. They should stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities are crucial. The candidate should have experience leading and managing IT teams, setting clear goals, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Leads development of a long term technology plan that supports the overall mission and strategic direction
- Develop and execute on a strategy in partnership with other cross functional partners including Operations, People Ops, Recruiting, Finance, to build seamless experiences for our employees that scale through automation
- Identifies emerging technology trends, especially in cloud computing, and ensures Hinge Health is leveraging them as appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and drive value
- Oversee software and physical asset management inventory throughout its lifecycle including provisioning and deployment to enable the business
- Lead the analysis and maturation of IT Software Asset Management, compliance, and license management processes (harvesting, deployment, and retiring of licenses)
- Continuously raise the bar on benchmarks for service delivery and operational efficiency through creation of metric driven processes
- Lead and influence end to end process improvement, scalability, and automation to support growth
- Effectively manage the team relating to performance management, while coaching and mentoring staff to facilitate their personal and professional development
