We are currently seeking a Remote Power BI Architect to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA, Inc. is hiring a Remote Power BI Developer, who is responsible in the design, development and maintenance of end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions with Microsoft’s BI Stack (Power BI, SSIS, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, Databricks, Python, etc.) on Azure. The role will involve working in agile team environment with technical engineers and partner with a variety of business groups and stakeholders within Tenneco to understand KPI's and Metrics towards building reports and dashboards in Power BI. This position will require demonstrated proficiency in analytics, data collection, reporting best-practices, and visualization tools. The Power BI Developer will prioritize work in alignment with business objectives and strategies.

 

Essential Responsibilities: (essential functions of this position include, but not limited to)

 

• Design, define, document and build Power BI Implementation and Architecture strategy
• Mentor developers to Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and KPI reports, etc. in Power BI utilizing cloud compute technologies including Azure Cloud and Power BI.
• Work on Power BI related projects to proactively integrate new technologies for more advanced analytics.
• Develop and operationalize a Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform and Solutions to achieve operational excellence and business agility.
• Build Power BI models (including DataMarts) with optimal refresh and query performance.
• Provide governance around platform and usage of analytics tools
• Partner closely with senior management, key business stakeholders and other groups within IT to maximize the value of the Business Analytics programs. Work closely with the business on the identification and development of key performance indicators to deliver performance insights.
• Support the development of data strategies, support the development of a strong reporting governance framework.

 

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of key Business Intelligence and Analytics trends.
• Strong knowledge on Power BI Service including Premium capacity, Gateways, Row Level Security, Administration. Power BI Rest API/PowerShell knowledge will be plus.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Ability to translate business requirements Power BI model using Power query / DAX formula.
• Solid Understanding of leading-edge BI, big data and IoT technologies (among others SAP Hana / Power BI / Azure BI stack (SQL / Synapse / ADF) /DevOps)
• Understanding of how to define and support a data governance framework.
• Experience with implementing companywide Business Intelligence and Analytics programs.
• Strong business Acumen
• Deep understanding relational database systems, modern Datawarehouse platforms like Azure SQL Synapse.
• Mastery of SQL, Data warehouse design and implementation experience in cross-functional area like Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing etc.
• Experience building and automating data system components that enable - Data acquisition, cleansing, and persistence data engineering
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of work experience
• 4+ years of Power BI Implementation and Architecture experience required.
• 4+ years of experience working with business intelligence and analytics concepts, platforms, and tools (including advanced capabilities like predictive analytics)
• 4+ years of experience with Visualization tools like Power BI.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,200 to $243,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual comp
