The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Human Resources (HR) organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our team to support the BCA Fabrication - Interiors Responsibility Center in Everett, WA.  This position provides direct support on-site in a dynamic factory environment and will contribute to the culture that values collaboration, growth, and excellence. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level HRGs to find the best fit for this position.

The HRG will be a trusted partner collaborating with management and HR peers to provide day-to-day HR consultation critical to driving business value and creating a best-in-class employee experience. The selected candidate will possess resiliency and adaptability to adjust to change and have a working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and processes.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with hourly union populations

Position Responsibilities:

  • Builds and sustains healthy relationships with all levels of employees with a keen focus on our hourly union employees and first level managers to provide effective counsel and support on: coaching, onboarding, employee retention, employee relations matters, and employee engagement

  • Collaborates with management and HR peers including our Communities of Excellence (COEs) on the deployment of HR processes

  • Provides analysis and recommendations to management that are focused on organizational objectives

  • Works with leaders to implement HR actions inclusive of performance management, compensation, organization design, and talent management

  • Seeks counsel with Legal, Corporate Investigations, and/or Labor Relations

  • Drives performance management initiatives that empower employees to reach their full potential

  • Ensures compliance with labor laws while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment

  • Champions training and development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth

  • Analyzes employee feedback and implements strategies to improve retention and satisfaction

  • Stays ahead of HR trends to keep our organization competitive and innovative

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes

  • 1+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders and employees across all levels and functions

  • 1+ years of experience partnering with leadership to implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Human Resources certification

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • 1+ years of experience managing and resolving employee relations issues

  • Experience supporting hourly union populations

  • Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style
