About the team:

As a Product Owner you will lead cross functional teams in developing solutions for the retirement industry, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure product solutions and deliverables meet client needs. This role involves navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and implementing modern product management methodologies within a delivery organization.

What you will be doing:

• Understands product strategy, market trends, industry players, and client goals.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and define solutions in the form of features and user stories.
• Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.
• Manage backlog of features and user stories for one or more products
• Establish user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.
• Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
• Creates Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.
• Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders
• Applies Agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined delivery process.
• Leads planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
 

What you bring:

• Knowledge of financial services industry
• 3 to 5 years of product management and/or delivery experience
• Experience with delivering solutions leveraging modern technologies
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
• JIRA experience or similar toolset
• Strong negotiation, organization, analytical and people skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $110,330.00 - $185,350.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
