We are seeking a Senior Account Specialist to join our Procurement team. This role functions as a Senior Buyer and is aligned with our customer to support their programs. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between internal procurement operations, suppliers, and the customer - ensuring alignment on priorities, delivery, and strategic goals. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, supplier management, and the ability to represent both internal and customer interests.

This is a hybrid role (combination of onsite and remote work). Weekly onsite presence is required.

What You Will Do

• Ensure on-time delivery of material and services supporting customer engine programs.

• Act as the primary point of contact for procurement activities, maintaining regular communication and alignment with priorities.

• Collaborate with suppliers to address performance issues, improve delivery reliability, and drive resolution of root causes affecting material flow.

• Provide proactive customer service and maintain open lines of communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrate technical guidance in key procurement areas, including Order terminations, SAP system connectivity, Procurement Manual requirements, Tooling procurement, Compliance standards and Aged inventory closure

• Build and share organizational knowledge by mapping key contacts and decision-makers.

• Mentor and train new and existing team members to strengthen team capability.

• Develop and present performance metrics, updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Supply chain experience within the aerospace industry preferred.

• Working experience within customer-facing role.

• Experience creating and implementing standardized procurement processes.

• Working experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
