Komatsu is searching for a skilled individual for our Electrical Assembly department in Longview, Texas.  Komatsu offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and bonus/merit potential.

Work safe and be an advocate for Safety

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists. Gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
  • Assembles electrical/mechanical/hydraulic components by using templates or reading measurements, examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. 
  • Assignments are routine in nature with close supervision and work primarily involves assisting more experienced employees
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Math skills.

Able to read a tape measure.

Basic understanding of hand tools and how to use the right tool for the right job in a safe manner.

Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of this position. 

Able to know what PPE is required to do the job.  Has moderate blue-print reading skills.

Able to work in a team environment.

Cleans and maintains equipment, tooling and area. 

Must successfully pass a background check, rapid urine drug screen and physical.
