Your role in our team

• You will have experience in electrical and control design of logistics automation equipment such as high speed sortation systems, order fulfillment machinery or other machines with similar complexity

• You will have experience leading and directing Electrical Engineering resources creating electrical engineering designs, layouts, network and wiring diagrams, and documentation supporting requests for electrical installation services

• You will have experience managing teams developing programmable logic controller (PLC) software code, human machine interface (HMI) tools, emulation testing, and code deployment and commissioning activities

• You will have experience managing and directing Test Engineering resources developing test plans and performing system tests

• You will have experience collaborating with Sales and Solution Design Engineering on electrical and control design requirements influencing concept development

• You will have experience collaborating with Mechanical Engineering workstreams during detail design layout and equipment selection

• You will have experience working with material handling equipment suppliers and manufacturing to identify electrical system design enhancements

• You will possess a working knowledge of electrical and control project requirements and budget management

• You will have experience providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback supporting direct report career development planning and progress

 

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of eight (8) years of applicable experience

• You have a proven track record of expertise in the electrical and controls engineering field

• You have experience with complex integrated systems

• You have strong collaboration skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit
