Junior Electrical Engineer - Life Science

• Perform electrical engineering and design in coordination with the Lead Electrical Engineer.
• Perform basic electrical calculations using computer-based programs.
• Develop electrical construction drawings (i.e. lighting plans, power plans, special systems plans, fire alarm system plans, details, single lines/riser diagrams, and panel schedules).
• Coordinate design requirements with other discipline engineers/designers and architects.
• Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company design and production standards.
• Participating in the design effort on large and small projects.

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines from an accredited institution.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and design, focused on building systems.
• Competent in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Competent with MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the NEC is a plus.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) designation is a plus.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Science, and Laboratory industries is a plus.
