The Senior DevOps Engineer to lead a variety of technical tasks/initiatives contributing to our continuous integration/continuous deployment/development frameworks, and providing expert level execution. <h3>Key Deliverables (What you'll do)</h3> <ul> <li>As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be building and supporting our high level technical solutions/estate using AWS and GCP services, in addition to managing existing CI/CD frameworks and contribute to our continuous improvement strategies</li><li>Managing the installation and configuration of our technical solutions, provisioning, and orchestration activities.</li><li> You will work cross-functionally across our global teams, assisting our database administration /DBA teams with management and provisioning of database resources</li><li>You will be provided with training and support from our talented technical teams, and have the opportunity to further develop and hone your DevOps teams</li><li>You will have an active contribution and make an impact on the future of our technology by conducting research on emerging tech, protocols and standards</li><li>Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts</li></ul> <h3></h3> <ul> <li>A positive can-do approach, with a strong work ethic and good stakeholder/communication skills</li><li>Ability to support on-call shifts as and when requirement - typically for a few days each month on a rotating pattern</li><li>Strong track record working of DevOps-driven roles with automation experience within a GCP/AWS environment</li><li>Previous leadership experience will be essential - line management/people management will not be a focus of this role, but owning processes and executing initiatives independently with minimal supervision will be a must</li><li>You have a good understanding of modern web technologies and data processing</li><li>Experience in shell scripting and one or more of the following scripting languages - Python / Ruby / Groovy, etc.</li><li>Knowledge of web servers (Nginx is an advantage)</li><li>Basic networking knowledge is mandatory</li><li>Knowledge of Linux Operating System</li><li>Good understanding of Kubernetes all its components and resources (pod, deployment, services, ingress) understand traffic flow in kubernetes</li><li>Experience with any Streaming and Message Brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ would be an advantage</li><li>At least basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL db (any of MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Aerospike, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, BigTable)</li><li>Experience with any of CI/CD platform (jenkins and gitlab ci is an advantage)</li><li>Knowledge of services and tools for monitoring infrastructure and services</li><li>Positive, “can do” attitude who isn’t afraid of a challenge</li><li>Ability to commute and work in the base location of the role, on a hybrid working basis</li></ul>About Digital Turbine:<br/>Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) powers superior mobile consumer experiences and results for the world’s leading telcos, advertisers and publishers.
