Working closely with leading automotive manufacturers, Lear’s Swedish operations are at the forefront of <b>innovation, quality, and technological advancement</b> in the automotive industry.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>About the Role</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>As a <b>Senior Account Manager</b>, you will be responsible for managing and developing long-term business relationships with a major automotive manufacturer. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth commercial operations, support new business opportunities, and drive profitability.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>• Manage <b>day-to-day commercial activities</b> and ensure smooth business operations.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Oversee <b>order accuracy, change management costs, and implementation of logistical changes</b>.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Maintain records of <b>capital investment, tools, and unit cost recovery</b>.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Lead <b>value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) activities</b> to align with profitability goals.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Collaborate with other Account Managers to maintain common business standards and best practices.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Develop and maintain the <b>calculation database</b> and provide <b>monthly sales forecasts</b>.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Support <b>new business opportunities</b> by compiling and analyzing purchasing data.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Act as the primary <b>customer interface</b>, handling day-to-day communication and visiting their operational locations in Sweden and globally.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Work closely with global teams to meet customer requirements and business expectations.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Build and maintain strong relationships with both <b>internal teams and customers</b>.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>Requirements:</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>• <b>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering</b> or a related field (preferred).</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• <b>At least 5 years of experience</b> in a similar role within the automotive industry.</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• <b>Fluent spoken and written English</b> (Swedish or other languages are a plus).</span></span></p> <p><span><span>• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>This is a fantastic opportunity to join <b>Lear’s Gothenburg plant</b>, where you will contribute to the future of <b>automotive technology and innovation</b>.</span></span></p>
