Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist with at least three years of experience to join our team in building and implementing recruitment strategies to recruit top engineering talent. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and collaborate with different teams across the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR, Marketing and hiring teams in all offices to develop and execute successful recruitment strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with employment sources, such as educational institutions, recruitment firms, professional societies, and outreach organizations.
• Ongoing responsibility for creation, maintenance, and oversight of company’s affirmative action plans.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain job descriptions
• Support an inclusive culture and workforce, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Establish and maintain talent market expertise including comprehensive view of industry trends, competitors and overall talent landscape.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, including career fairs.
• Work with Marketing to contribute to and maintain recruitment social media, such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed.
• Stay up to date with hiring and market trends including new social platforms, marketing methods, and employment trends.
• Some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or a related field, strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a talent acquisition specialist, recruitment marketing specialist, or similar role
• Experience in the A/E Industry or experience as a consulting engineer, preferred
• Ability to exercise strategic thinking and collaborate with all levels and departments within the company
• Strong presentation skills
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Adobe Suite, a plus)
• Advanced knowledge and experience related to OFCCP, EEO, and affirmative action laws, regulation, procedures and best practices; AAP experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and SmartRecruiters a plus
• Ability and willingness to assist in other areas of HR as needed

Expected annual salary of $72,000 - $85,000.
