Job Summary: As the Senior Director of Platform Initiatives, you will be responsible for articulating and translating the vision and scope of critical enterprise initiatives to uplift Priority’s payment platforms and payment workflow operations and own the strategic analysis for all critical payment operational vendors. You will bring a demonstrated track record of influencing senior leadership, collaborating across stakeholder groups and leading key change efforts as well as critical skills in the transformation of payment operations and back-office platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsible for the success of 3-5 high priority, cross-functional initiatives at any given moment. For example, enabling new payment rails, centralizing enterprise payment systems and workflows, developing a framework for operational roadmaps and optimization projects.

• Develop and implement strategic proposals to enhance payment operational effectiveness and efficiency. 

• Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency and make changes to improve the business.

• Refine execution level strategies: Gain a deeper understanding of the current Operations functional taxonomy and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes while also surfacing wins to executive leadership.

• Develop a granular understanding of the operational functions supported and help create business continuity plans, succession plans and other building blocks of scale.

• Identify procedural gaps in existing workflows and work to resolve with optimization, automation, and data.

• Partner with the payment operations leadership team, across all functional areas and supporting all PRTH products and partner integrations, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Have a clear understanding of settlement flows and cross system requirements for existing processes and new initiative requirements.

• Be the primary point of contact for market analysis and program research to provide guidance on for all new platform initiatives.

• Work closely with diverse teams, including the GTM and product teams, throughout all project phases, from initial development to implementation.

• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with counterparts throughout the business.

• Manage a Director-led team of project managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 9+ years of relevant work experience. 5+ year’s experience at a major Card Brand or large Payments Company and/or in high growth startup environments

• Direct experience in payment operations

• A proven history of building and maintaining excellent relationships and partnering with executives at all levels to help drive change

• Evidence of success in managing key business initiatives. Demonstrated ability to take a project from ideation through to implementation
