What We Need
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Director, Information Security Engineering to build and lead our Information Security Team. This role acts as a key advisor and operational leader, ensuring our cybersecurity initiatives align with business priorities and executive goals. You'll drive strategic security efforts, enhance our security posture, and foster a collaborative security culture.
Day-to-Day
Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CISO and Director of Cybersecurity Engineering to define and execute our cybersecurity strategy, aligning it with business objectives. Drive key initiatives and track measurable outcomes.
Operational Management: Integrate security functions across the organization for a cohesive strategy. Serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams on security priorities.
Security Posture Enhancement: Identify and address security gaps, improving our ability to protect company assets, data, and systems.
Business Enablement: Ensure security measures support business goals while minimizing disruption. Advocate for security as a business enabler.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with departments like IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, HR, and Operations, facilitating regular communication and feedback.
Unified Security Strategy: Develop and implement a holistic information security strategy that meets industry standards and organizational needs.
Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and report on program effectiveness, risk reduction, and overall security posture improvements.

What You Bring
Required: Bachelor's degree in Technology or Computer Science (Master's preferred) with 5+ years of experience.
Preferred: CISSP certification.
Advanced knowledge and experience managing a security engineering or security operations team in a large, complex enterprise.
Solid experience managing people, specifically, senior technologists and engineers, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
