A better future?</p> <p> </p> <p>We're Lear For You. </p> <p>Purpose of the position:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>To have trained and motivated production staff with whom he/she has established a relationship of respect and trust.</li> <li>Ensure the implementation of the production program, pursuing the objectives and standards of reference (safety, health and environment, efficiency, cadence, quality, etc.), coordinating the activities of the assigned and interacting with Production manager and other relevant figures (quality, T&amp;M, RSPP, Maintenance, Logistics) in compliance with company plans and procedures</li> <li>Prepares production plan and ensures its development by coordinating relevant team leaders. Schedules and coordinates weekly activity of areas under his/her responsibility, balances resources between production areas in agreement with fellow supervisors and production manager.</li> <li>Monitors achievement of efficiency and productivity goals shared with shift leader</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Supports the team leader in resolving issues and ensures that he/she has all the resources to achieve the production plan. Shares and implements resolutions that emerge from shifts, following directions expressed on shift boards.</li> <li>Interfaces with quality customer engineer so that process issues that have not been resolved between team leader and process auditor are resolved or coordinated. Ensures that directions coming from the customer are addressed in line and appropriate actions put in place. </li> <li>Coordinates with the production planner on weekly scheduling, taking into account extras. Interfaces with planners in case of material issues. </li> <li>Evaluates daily performance of efficiency, absenteeism, quality kpi of production departments and coordinates with production supervisor for any other actions. </li> <li>Coordinates with other supervisors and production manager on priorities of maintenance intervention requests.</li> <li>Compiles and manages production trend files such as POs, extra files, and PDAs </li> <li>Coordinates with Launch Manager, Prototyping and PE phases. </li> <li>Manages assigned area by coordinating the activities of relevant team leaders and interfacing with other supervisors, complying with production manager's directives.</li> <li>Interfaces with the production manager to know the stage of production progress and outlines any changes to be made to the process. </li> <li>Grants vacations and leave so as to ensure proper balance of resources and guarantee expected production.</li> <li>Is responsible for training shift leaders and area operators on 5S procedures, self maintenance, company code of ethics.</li> <li>Ensures that internal regulations, company environmental and safety rules and procedures, accident prevention regulations related to the role are applied and adhered to by production workers, and ensures that Shift Leaders enforce this monitoring role (in his/her absence).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Supports the team leader in resolving issues and ensures that he/she has all the resources to achieve the production plan.
