Blow Mold Operator

SUMMARY 

Operate blow mold machines efficiently and includes but not limited to the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Operators must be able to operate both blow mold machines

Responsible for proper operation procedures for starting, stopping, heat, timing of cycles, pressures, and cooling.

Must control units to exact prescribed weights.

Must maintain all safety devices at all times in the safe position when machine is running.

Responsible to maintain leak detection equipment in proper working order at all times.

Operator must hand load or unload jug line as necessary to keep blow mold machine in constant operations. No unnecessary shut downs.

Check time, Temperatures, pressures, and jug weights every half hour and record findings on proper form.

Assure that jug conveyor to filler is empty at the end of the run each day.

Perform preventive maintenance daily as directed by maintenance department management.

Keep work and associated areas clean and orderly at all times.

Perform any other duty that may be assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
