This Software Engineering co-op opportunity requires you to be available to work 100% on-site in the Rochester, NY office. This co-op opportunity will begin in May/June and has the potential to continue through the fall of 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Adding software features to existing platforms
- Testing a variety of radio products
- Writing test software for hardware validation
- Primary focus as an embedded software developer
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of C/C++ or C# and Python
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Desired:
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and/or computing platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PSoC, Kinetis
- Working knowledge of embedded Linux and network-based message protocols such as ZMQ is a plus
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, but not required

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
