As a Software Engineer III, you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo.

What you will do:

• Deliver high quality technical designs and code for the product requirements in a fast-paced agile scrum environment.
• Develop Java microservices, CICD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
• Strive for continuous improvement in efficiency.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.

What you will bring:

• Solid hands-on experience with object-oriented and/or event driven systems.
• Strong programming experience in object-oriented programming e.g. Java
• In depth knowledge of SQL/No-SQL and database technologies (Oracle and Cosmos DB)

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to working with cloud technologies such as GCP or Azure.
• Process-driven, understanding of today’s infrastructure and able to operate with efficiency.  
• Ability to build products with focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage (well versed with Mockito and JUnit)
• A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment.
• A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level and a passion for adopting the latest industry best practices.
