The Market Intelligence Analyst Sr. is responsible for providing expertise and guidance on market intelligence and forecasts with a detailed understanding of our business and multiple external market factors that influence commodity pricing, supply, demand, seasonality, regulations, and international trade. This role will use aggregated information to lead the development of our commodity pricing point-of-view (POV) and proprietary internal market views. The ability to function as the liaison with senior leaders on market intelligence, creation of our POV, and ongoing coordination and dissemination of price outlooks is a key to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Performs research projects on the impact of external events, competitor and customer analyses, or other focused market studies
- Contributes to tactical and strategic market intelligence efforts with focus on supply and demand analysis, project and competitive intelligence, enterprise strategy, and risk analyses
- Provides customized market supply/demand balances and other market intelligence and analysis to support and rationalize capital project development
- Aggregates information from our multiple consulting services, supplements that with internal market intelligence, and pushes critical market information to business partners
- Prepares recommendations based on research and analysis of energy industry data
- Transforms large amounts of data into meaningful summaries
- Facilitates strategy discussions with leaders and other subject matter specialists
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Market Intelligence Analyst Sr:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree; a minimum six (6) years’ related experience
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
Market Intelligence Analyst III:
Required: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum four (4) years’ related experience
Preferred: Master’s degree
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- An understanding of global energy market fundamentals with a strong understanding of demand markets
- Industry knowledge of key elements of the midstream and pipeline business
