Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapy Evaluator, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive evaluations of children suspected of having developmental delays. You will play a crucial role in identifying individual needs and helping children reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessment tools such as the Bayley-4.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of each evaluation.

  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure the best care for children.

  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Qualifications:

  • New York Physical Therapy (PT) License

  • Experience working with children with developmental delays.

  • Early Intervention Evaluator Experience (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools used for assessing developmental needs.

  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

  • Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)

  • Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
