Bold is backed by leading investors, including Rethink Impact, Andreessen Horowitz, and Khosla Ventures.</p></div><p><strong>Bold</strong> is seeking a <strong>Medical Director</strong> with a strong background in preventive and lifestyle medicine to join our clinical team. The role is designed for a practicing physician who wishes to remain deeply involved in direct patient care while shaping the clinical direction and standards. As Bold grows, the balance of this role is expected to evolve with patient-facing time decreasing and leadership and governance responsibilities expanding. We're looking for someone who is excited about both dimensions and ready to grow into a broader leadership role<strong>. </strong>This is a full time remote position.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Clinical Excellence & Patient Care (60-70%)</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality telehealth care focused on prevention, weight management, chronic disease management, and lifestyle interventions (e.g. nutrition, movement, sleep) to older adults (65+).</li> <li>Model best practices in clinical documentation and medical decision-making for the clinical team.</li> <li>Stay current with the latest medical research and literature, particularly in MSK care, chronic pain management, and digital health outcomes.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Clinical Leadership & Provider Management (20-25%)</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of physicians and nurse practitioners.</li> <li>Conduct regular provider meetings to discuss clinical protocols, complex cases, and updates.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the clinical staff and the administrative/business operations teams.</li> <li>Be the voice of the practicing provider in product design.</li> <li>Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of new clinical staff.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Quality Improvement, Governance & Operations (10-15%)</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.</li> <li>Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery.</li> <
