Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience of our clinics across North America, have allowed us to lead the charge against “we caught it too late again.” Prenuvo operates preventative screening clinics in Vancouver, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Houston, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Buffalo, Bethesda, Chicago, and Atlanta, with more clinics in North America and internationally in the next 2 years.
We are looking for a contract Medical Writer to support our creative team on medical writing assignments. The Creative Practice at Prenuvo is an eclectic and inclusive playground for those with different creative interests and perpetual curiosity. This role will serve as a key partner on the creative team to liaison with our medical leadership and develop materials for our clinical operations, marketing, and sales teams, specializing in writing content targeted to health care providers (from primary care doctors to radiologists) and health systems.
This is a fully remote contractor (project based) role. You will be required to commit to a minimum of 15-20 hours of work per week. Candidates located in the US (where we have clinic locations) are welcome to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Write and edit engaging and informative copy for various mediums, including content for medical case studies, webinars, newsletters, sales collateral, blogs, articles, press releases, advertisements, videos, website copy, social media and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, creative / design, and medical, to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness
- Proofread, revise, and update content to ensure accuracy, maintaining consistency in brand voice, style, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Ensure the accuracy and credibility of all medical content produced, ensuring writing is correctly referenced and annotated to primary sources, as needed
- Manage a library of developed content and assess gaps to ensure breadth and depth across key topics
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a health care related field; MS, MD, PhD, or BSN a plus
- Portfolio showcasing a range of medical writing publications or projects
- 2+ years of medical writing experience in the medical communications industry
Skills:
- Ability to understand and explain complex medical and technical information from cross-functional teams
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple timelines
- Excellent project and time management skills (prioritizing, organizing, researching)
- Attention to scientific accuracy and details
- Experience working with Adobe Suite and Canva, Figma a plus
- Experience writing content targeted to health care providers (from primary care doctors to radiologists)
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, ideally in the health care space
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines
- Familiarity with medical writing related to developing products in a mobile app environment
