WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At Opus we work with some of the world’s most influential brands to design, create, and manage their most important events and experiential campaigns. The Sr. Solutions Architect is responsible for working with clients to recommend, architect, integrate, occasionally implement, and oversee the event technology and experiential solutions, while managing third party technology relationships and contracts.

 

The Sr. Solutions Architect will work within event teams to ensure multiple external event technologies come together flawlessly to create a successful and innovative event. In the digital event space, the event happens online, and you are responsible for making sure the doors open and the lights turn on.

 

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 5+ years’ experience in a services organization delivering technology
  • 7+ years’ experience with a broad array of technology disciplines including Architecture, Application Development, Technology Delivery and Service, and Data Management
  • 2+ years’ experience with a broad array of technology disciplines including website development, JavaScript, configuring a CMS design, and CSS application development, technology service and delivery, and data management
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year institution is preferred
  • Supervisor experience preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, recommend and document event technology solutions
  • Provide technical oversight on Event Technology for Digital, Hybrid and In-Person engagements
  • Guide event teams and clients through integrating multiple event technologies
  • Work as a consultant in area of expertise on OPUS's most complicated and high touch events
  • Effectively manage relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Work with multiple, external registration tools and digital platforms and consult clients on all of them
  • Effectively delegate technical tasks to Implementation team
  • As needed, implement simple to moderate HTML/CSS/JS customizations within digital platforms
  • Perform Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing
