As an engineering in the parametric test and device characterization group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will support technology development by leading a technical team responsible for developing, deploying, and reporting results from electrical device characterization. You will be involved in working with groundbreaking memory and storage solutions which employ traditional CMOS and interconnect, as well as novel semiconductor devices. In this role you will work with engineering teams from process integration, process development, design, product, and quality & reliability.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Leading workflows and define best-known-methods for electrical device characterization
Collaborating with global teams, including senior leadership within technology development
Owning and implementing electrical characterization in a variety of semiconductor devices
Employing strong data analysis skills and have experience in automating data analysis methods
Strong candidates will have these qualifications:
Leadership skills with a passion for leading, mentoring, and developing people, recognizing team member successes, and facilitating the best outcomes for a highly technical team
You have the skills to independently learn innovative memory systems
Strong background in semiconductor device physics, electrical characterization, processing, and instrumentation
A deep understanding of device operation in memory systems including NAND, DRAM, storage class, and other memory technologies.
Self-motivated and hardworking to find creative solutions to challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
Experience in the operation and automation of semiconductor instrumentation including, but not totally limited to: Parameter analyzers, SPA, SMU, LCR meters, Network analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Pulse & waveform generators, Wafer probers, ATE and bench systems; write algorithms
Knowledgeable of a variety of software tools and operating systems, including: Python/Pandas/PyQt, C/C++, Unix/Linux, Perl, JMP/JSL
Minimum Education / Experience:
Prior experience in a technical leadership role directly leading a small team
MS/PhD in a related field plus 5+ years extensive experience in Electrical Engineering
