CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

                                                                                                          

Supports core communications initiatives to drive the performance of institutional priorities through data-driven digital marketing.

Manages ideation, development, and execution of the organization’s digital marketing strategies and corresponding campaigns to help grow brand awareness, increase social media presence, and overall engagement with current and prospective students, faculty, and stakeholders.

Executes SEO initiatives, including owned and paid content strategies, site audits, and advertising campaigns.

Cultivates influencer/brand ambassador initiatives to reinforce unique storytelling opportunities and drives engagement for the organization��s various institutional properties.

Identifies appropriate talent to engage for the organization’s partnerships based on overarching digital marketing goals, current happenings, and various enterprise priorities.

Manages end-to-end campaign strategy and content planning/development efforts to support institutional and various enterprise initiatives alongside prospective talent partnerships including, establishing key objectives, creative briefs, messaging guides, content reviews, content publishing/distribution cadences, managing internal/external timelines, etc.

Implements data-driven analytics reporting structure to communicate ROI and identify areas of growth.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement and support workflows, project management, and reporting.

Strategize, plan, and develop content to support institutional campaigns.

Manages and prioritizes multiple ongoing tasks and responsibilities of varying degrees of complexity and meets established deadlines.

Understands, monitors, and reports on industry trends and best practices to provide strategic recommendations.

Integrates digital communications seamlessly into the broader organizational goals and messaging, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all digital platforms.

Provides appropriate real-time solutions for crisis communications responses to safeguard the organization from any negative/risky impacts to the brand Identifies actionable business insights and opportunities, as well as provides strategic recommendations.

Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained in controls within the function and on the institution’s policies and procedures.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                         

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Commitment to the organization’s core values.
