Community Resource Representative - Doula Program - Swedish First Hill campus 

*Bilingual Representative needed with fluency in Spanish or Portuguese 

SCHEDULE: 0.75 FTE, averaging 30 hours per week. There is flexibility to this schedule. Needs are on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday. Shift times can vary between 8-10 hours. Operating hours are 7a-6p PST. 

The Cultural Navigator role is designed to address disparities in healthcare.  Cultural Navigators are Community Healthcare Workers with understanding and knowledge of the local community.  The Cultural Navigator builds well-being in the language of the target community by bridging the gap between groups, individuals, and healthcare providers.   Community education, outreach, identification of barriers to care, and educating healthcare providers in culturally appropriate delivery of care are key activities. Cultural Navigators will work with patients to connect them to health and community services and act as advocates to mitigate barriers to equitable and culturally sensitive health care.

Required qualifications:

• 2 years Healthcare experience
• 2 years Diversity, equity and inclusion related work experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Health or Social Work Related Field
• Upon hire: Certified Community Health Worker

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
